CIK-1 Insert Keyer is a multi-function component video keyer and mixing system. Just 1RU (1.75”) in height, it is available for either RGB or YUV component video formats. Two remote control panels are available— a 1 RU rack-mounted panel or a compact 4” x 9” panel for installation in a console.
CIK-1 has a versatile key source selector. Six KEY SOURCE switches on the remote control panel select any one source, or a combination of up to six sources, from which to produce the key. One of the key sources is the external (EXT) input, while the other five are derived from the INSERT component video input. CIK-1’s transition system allows either cuts or mixes between the background and the composite effect of the insert video keyed over the background.
