1RU & 3RU DigiLinx Mounting Frames...
The DigiLinx Series offers exceptionally high density in two
compact mounting frames. Rack mount frames are available in 1RU and 3RU
configurations shown below. The 1RU DigiLinx frame can accommodate up
to 6 different functions and comes with a single built-in power supply.
This frame accepts up to six single width or up to three double width
DigiLinx modules, in any combination.
A unique feature
of the 807110 frame is an optional local control panel. For those
applications in which less than a full fledged SmartLinx control system
is needed, this panel provides a very cost effective means to control
the six modules in the 807110 frame. Note that the 804711 local panel
must be disabled(via a front panel selection) to network its frame to
additional DigiLinx frames in larger, multi-frame, SmartLinx networks.
By ordering the
SmartLinx RS-485 to RS-232 Buss Host Adapter Module(507125), the 807110
frame can be controlled via the SVS SmartLinx protocol and/or using
Windows with our SmartLinx application program.
The 807110 frame
includes an internal cooling fan that allows the frame to be mounted
directly above or below other equipment, provided these other devices
do not exceed the 807110's rated ambient temperature.
The three rack
unit (3RU) DigiLinx frame provides for 18 'single slot' DigiLinx
modules or 9 'two slot' modules. The rear panel is equipped with two
SmartLinx network cabling to 'loop through' the frame. A single power
supply is provided with basic model while the two identical power
supplies are provided with redundant power supply version.
The 807121 is forced air
cooled with side intake/exhaust. 807121 frames may be stacked without
requiring cooling spaces between frames. The 3RU frame provides
a special power alarm to indicate power supply functionality and
performance. All modules are designed to plug into the rear of the
mounting frame to reduce impedance, jitter, and return loss. Our
designs move the input buffer to a circuit next to the BNC connector
for considerably improved performance and reliability.
