beyerdynamic Xelento Wireless In-Ear Headphone Now Available – See Features, Specs, Price and Where to Buy
Recently, beryedynamic released a wireless version of their Xelento remote in-ear headphone – the beyerdynamic Xelento Wireless. The wireless connection is no doubt via Bluetooth, but this is no ordinary wireless headphone. The Xelento Wireless offers high-resolution sound for music lovers and audiophiles who are on the go. It features miniature Tesla technology driver and a comfortable ergonomically driver shell design. Like I said, this is a high-end headphone, and currently comes with an MSRP of $1,199 USD / 1,199.00 EUR. The wired version did get a mark down in price and currently retails for around $999 USD. You can grab a Xelento Wireless from Amazon.com here. Check out the rest of its features and specifications below.
beyerdynamic Xelento Wireless Features
The beyerdynamic Xelento Wireless features the MOSAYC sound personalization by Mimi Defined and features what the company claims to be “the best driver technology, the best wireless connection, and the best wearing comfort”. The Xelento Wireless is hand built in Heilbronn Germany, making sure build quality is top notch; and it is considered to be as an “exquisite piece of jewelry and an audiophile listening device”.
Basically, the Xelento Wireless is similar to the wired version, Xelento Remote. Both features the same miniature Tesla dynamic driver. The drivers create a “sonic image defined by precise impulses, exceptional transparency and an acoustic balance ranging from tight bass to detailed highs”. The beyerdynamic Xelento Wireless supports Qualcomm aptX HD codec; enabling transmission of 24bit / 48kHz. It is still compatible with aptX™ and AAC to provide connectivity with every conventional playback device.
Another feature is the sound personalization technology – MOSAYC by Mimi Defined. This creates a customized listening experience through beyerdynamic’s MIY (Make it Yours) app. Listeners can complete a short hearing test to identify the specific characteristics of their ears and adjust the playback to fit the profile. The innovative MOSAYC technology by Mimi Defined restores the faded pieces of the acoustic image to perfect the individual listening experience.
The beyerdynamic Xelento is a great pair for your smartphone, but you can always pair it with a good high-end portable digital audio player as well. The slim battery in its elegant aluminum cylinder housing can be attached with a clip and allows for up to eight hours of continuous playtime. The battery can be charged over USB; when the battery is empty the Xelento wireless can also be plugged in with the cable supplied. The package includes seven sets of anatomically designed ear tips that comes in various sizes to provide an optimal fit. These aren’t your typical silicone tips; and on top of that the package also includes Comply Foam ear tips.
